Stone sculpture "Holy Family"

A very pretty small decoration or gift idea - not just for Christmas - is this handmade sculpture made of soapstone. Handmade in Kenya, each of these figures is made from soapstone. So you don´t get mass-produced goods from China, but a real unique sculpture from an African artist.

 

Nativity scene out of soapstone

Artfully, the Nativity scene has been worked out of the stone depicting Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. While all small statuettes are similar, nevertheless each of them is unique and distinctive.

 

Stone figure in natural tones

Caused by the natural colour of the soapstone, the Nativity scene colour varies slightly. Colour trend, however, is a light beige, usually with a slight reddish tone.

Dimensions: approx. 6 x 3 x 10 cm

Please note that each sculpture is made entirely by hand. Slight differences in size, colours and design in regards of the images and descriptions are possible.
